Pastor Leon Willis is a native of Plant City, Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida as an undergraduate with a B.S. in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology.  Eventually he went on to receive an MBA and MA in International Relations from Webster University.  Pastor Willis also holds a degree in Religion from Christian Life School of Theology.

 

While in Gainesville, Florida, he received salvation and subsequently a call to the ministry and began preaching.  It was during his time at Hope Aglow Empowerment Church, in Woodbridge, Virginia, while under the leadership of Apostle Levonzia Stevens Sr. his entry into the ministry was formalized. It was there that he was licensed and ordained.

 

After having given oversight to multiple ministries and having served in various leadership capacities for 11 years, he was elevated to an assistant pastor. Shortly thereafter, he was appointed Campus Pastor of the Hope Aglow Embassy Church located in Huntsville, Alabama.  Subsequently, he was he felt led of God to start Redemptive Life Church located in Huntsville, Alabama.

 

He has been married to Dr. Mina Willis for the past 20 years.
