DR. MINA WILLIS

Dr. Mina Willis is a native of the Tidewater area in Virginia. As her father was in the Navy, she was born at Portsmouth Naval Hospital and grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Her parents, who are naturalized citizens from the Philippines, greatly stressed the importance of education, strong work ethic, and helping others.
Dr. Willis attended the University of Virginia and graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. After working in various biomedical research labs, she matriculated at the University of Florida. In 2001, she earned both her Master in Physician Assistant Studies and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees.
In 2006, Pastor Leon and Dr. Willis moved to the Northern Virginia area and joined Hope Aglow Empowerment Center (Apostle Levonzia Stevens Sr). Alongside her husband, she served as a leader in multiple ministries. In 2017, they were sent out to Hope Aglow Embassy Church in Huntsville, Alabama.
Dr. Willis has a passion to see and help others to become and stay healthy in every area of their lives (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual). One of her favorite Scriptures is Micah 6:8 – “He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God."
